The 2019 World Manufacturing Convention grandly opened on Sept 20 in Hefei, capital city of East China's Anhui province.

Chen Xuedong, deputy general manager of Sinomach, was invited to the opening ceremony.

During the convention, Chen attended several forums and delivered keynote speeches, sharing with attendees Sinomach’s practical experience in identifying and controlling life circle risks and promoting the quality improvement of pressure vessels.

He also put forward suggestions for promoting the industrial foundation reinforcing project to achieve high-quality development in the manufacturing industry, elevate companies’ technological innovation ability, and propel deep integration of technology and the economy.

Before the opening ceremony, Chen represented Sinomach at the Central Enterprises Helping Anhui Implement the Yangtze River Delta Regional Integration Development Symposium, where cooperation contacts were signed between Anhui and central enterprises.

China Machinery Metal Co., Ltd (CMMC), a subsidiary of Sinomach, participated in the ceremony with signing of a casting project. The project will be constructed in Dangtu county, Ma’anshan city of Anhui province.

The event was sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Commerce, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, Chinese Academy of Engineering, All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, United Nations Industrial Development Organization, Global Alliance of SMEs, and Anhui provincial government.

Leaders from ministries of China and Anhui provincial leaders attended the convention, together with about 4,000 representatives from more than 60 countries and regions.
